Just a month after showing its new Skoda Octavia RS, the Czech brand has the most powerful of all time Octavia. It is called Skoda Octavia RS 245 and benefits from more than conventional power model, the style of the Performance Volkswagen GTI variant. It is officially presented at the next Geneva Motor Show in March and will be available in both body saloon as family or Combi.
This Octavia RS 245 mounts the same 2.0 TSI of ordinary RS, but with a power of 245 hp (extra 15 hp) and a maximum engine 370 Nm between 1,600 and 4,300 RPM par. It is combined with a six-speed manual gearbox or with a dual-clutch DSG gearbox and seven gears. The result is a 0 to 100 km / h in 6.6 seconds (6.7 for the Combi).
Skoda ensures that the model also shines in recoveries: with the manual gearbox and in fifth gear, acceleration from 60-100 km / h in 6.4 seconds(a tenth Extra Combi) and 80 to 120 km / I 6.6 Seconds (two tenths more for the Combi, in this case). Its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h.
In addition to a powerful engine under its body hides a sports suspension that lowers the ride height by 14 millimeters, an ESP with Sport mode, limited slip differential VAQ electronic locking (as in the GTI Performance or SEAT Leon Cupra), address Progressive or selectable modes of driving. There is also an adaptive DCC suspension, albeit in option.

Externally it looks generous air intakes, rear spoiler, specific wheels 19-inch glossy black finish to match other details in the same tone (grille, tailpipes, housing mirrors or roof bars in the Combi, for example). Headlights, new – looking, are full LED and feature AFS adaptive lighting technology standard.
