Galveston is a port city and coastal resort on the Gulf of Mexico. Getting to and from Galveston is an easy matter as the Galveston to Houston shuttle runs daily. Once you get there, there are plenty of fun things to do whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or a significant other.

1. Moody Gardens

2. Galveston Island State Park

For people who enjoy outdoor activities like fishing, camping, hiking, or biking but want to avoid crowded beaches, Galveston Island State Park can provide a more natural experience.
