5 Things to Stock Up on if You’re a Survivalist
GeneralIf you are concerned about the future and want to be prepared for any type of emergency situation that might pop up, you might have decided that you want to put a focus on survivalism. If you are just getting started as a survivalist or prepper, you could be wondering what you will need to get started. These are some of the things that you will probably want to stock up on.
1. Non-Perishable Food
First of all, you’ll want to make sure that you stock up on plenty of food for yourself and your family in an emergency situation. Stocking up on non-perishable foods like canned and boxed foods is a good way to start.
2. Water
You will also need to make sure that you have a nice stockpile of water on hand for drinking, bathing, cooking and more. Stocking up on gallon-size bottles of water and smaller bottles of drinking water is smart.
3. Weapons
You may want to invest in weapons to protect yourself and your family. For example, now might be a good time for you to learn about firearms and to potentially invest in a few firearms for protection and hunting. You may also want to invest in knives and other weapons.
4. Protection Gear
In addition to having weapons to protect yourself, you may also want to buy protection gear such as by looking for a ballistic shield for sale and investing in gas masks for your entire family.
5. Camping Gear
Lastly, you may want to start collecting camping gear for your stash. Certain things, like camp stoves and sleeping bags, could be very handy in an emergency situation. You can try looking for these things on sale and can stock up on them slowly until you accumulate a nice stash.
As a new survivalist, there are a few things that you should stock up on. If you start with the things that are listed above, then you can slowly build up a stockpile of things that you need for an emergency.
